8th March 2020

On 8th March in London a celebration was held for 80th birthday of Bishop Williamson. Over 100 family, clergy and friends came from all over the world including Korea, Australia, Canada, America and many from Europe.

A Pontifical Mass at the Faldstool was celebrated followed by lunch, after which several speeches were given. These were all interesting and reflected different periods of the Bishop’s life or influence. In the sermon during the Mass, the Bishop said how three defining moments in his life led to his reception into the Church in the early 1970s.

We hope these pictures below reflect some of the atmosphere of a very memorable day. Videos of the speeches will follow in due course
