ORDINATION OF BROTHER MARCEL OF THE CROSS TO THE SUB-DIACONATE
Brother Marcel of the Cross will be ordained Sub-deacon by His Excellency Bishop Williamson on Sunday, 15th July at 10 am at the Priory of Notre Dame du Christ Roi, La Villeneuve. The Sub-diaconate marks the definitive and irrevocable commitment to the service of the altar by chastity and the recitation of the breviary. The same day, Monsignor Williamson will clothe with the religious habit and confer the ecclesiastical tonsure on Alexandre Billaud for our community. Then he will confer the first of the minor orders, as Archbishop Lefebvre desired for Brothers, to Brother Joseph-Athanase. The ceremony will be preceded by a confirmation ceremony at 9 o’clock.
